Introduction: Polyorchidism, known as poliorchidy or supernumerary testicle, is defined as the presence of more than two testicles, mostly located at the scrotal (75%) or extrascrotal (25%) level. It can present as partial or complete duplications, with totally independent testes and epididymides.
Clinical case: We present a 1-year-old male patient, with no prenatal history, who came to the clinic because he had an undescended left testicle. The operating room was scheduled and in the surgical act the presence of two testicles in the left inguinal canal was detected, each with an independent spermatic cord and epididymis. A testicle with atrophic characteristics, so orchiectomy of the affected testicle is decided.
Conclusions: Polyorchidism is a very rare urological pathology in the uropediatric field. Management is controversial, there are no consensual management protocols because only case report information is obtained.
